Privacy Policy

Bloom holds some of the most personal moments of your life — the story of your growing family. We built it so that story stays yours. This policy explains, in plain language, what we collect, where it lives, and the things we will simply never do with it.

What we collect

• Account details. Your email address and display name, used to sign you in and connect you with your partner.
• Profile & pregnancy dates. Details you choose to share, such as your due date and current week of pregnancy, so the app can show the right chapter at the right time.
• Journal entries & check-ins. The moments, answers, and notes you and your partner save in the app.
• Photos & videos you upload. Media you explicitly add to your memory book.
• Product usage events. Small, first-party signals such as “the app opened” or “a wishlist item was saved” — counts and timestamps only, never the content of what you write. Used solely to understand which features help families and to fix what doesn’t.
• Error reports. If something breaks, the app may send a report with the error message, a technical trace, your device OS, and app version, so we can fix it. These reports never include the content of your journal entries, check-ins, or photos.

We collect only what the app needs to work. We do not collect your contacts, your precise location, or data from other apps.

Where your data lives

Your data is stored with Supabase in the US region. Every account is protected by row-level security, which means the database itself enforces that only you and your invited partner can read your family’s data. Photos and videos are kept in private storage buckets — they are never publicly accessible, and are served only through short-lived, signed links to your own devices.

What we never do

• Sell your data — to anyone, for any reason, ever.
• Show ads or let advertisers anywhere near your family’s story.
• Use third-party trackers. No advertising SDKs, no cross-app tracking, no fingerprinting.
• Share your data with employers or insurers. Your pregnancy is not a data product.

Email

We send email through Resend, and only for transactional purposes — things like sign-in links, partner invitations, and a launch notification if you joined our waitlist. No marketing drip campaigns, no newsletters you didn’t ask for.

Analytics & error reporting

First-party only. Bloom keeps a small record of product events and error reports, stored in our own Supabase database alongside the rest of your account data. There are no third-party analytics or crash-reporting SDKs, no advertising identifiers, no cross-app tracking — and nothing in these records is shared with or sold to anyone. They exist to answer two questions: which features are helping, and what just broke.

Your rights

Your data is yours. At any time you can:

• Export it. Email us and we’ll send you a complete copy of your family’s data.
• Delete it. Right in the app: Settings → Delete my account. Two confirmations and your account, journal entries, check-ins, and uploaded media are permanently erased — immediately, by you. You can also email us and we will do it for you. No retention tricks, no dark patterns.
• Ask questions. If anything here is unclear, ask. A human will answer.

To exercise any of these rights, write to hello@conduitai.io from the email on your account. In-app deletion takes effect immediately. For email requests, we aim to respond within 7 days and complete deletion within 30.

Children’s privacy

Bloom is an app for parents. There are no child accounts, and the app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Photos of your children that you add to your own memory book are simply part of your private data, protected like everything else you store with us.

Changes to this policy

If we make meaningful changes, we’ll update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
